Zimmerman Stops Bismarck State University Friday, April 25th , 1952 Hanno Zimmerman kept the Bismarck State University Bears hitters off balance all game long, as the Corpus Christi A&M Dolphins pitcher blanked the Bears, 3-0. Zimmerman gave up 8 hits, struck out 7, and walked 2. In the postgame press conference, the left-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length. "It was a nice win in a long season," he said. "I don't want to dwell too much on it." So far this season, Zimmerman has a 10-3 record with a 3.05 ERA. |
