Dortmund University Celebrates Wild Card Win Saturday, April 26th , 1952 The Dortmund University Scarecrows have thrilled their fan base by securing a late-season wild card berth. The team's playoff future was certainly not a foregone conclusion, as the Scarecrows battled to find a place in the postseason. "We never lost faith, I think that's key," said shortstop Franklin Toscano. "Even when things got rough, people in our clubhouse believed we were going to win." With their record sitting at 27-22, the Scarecrows will try to build on their success to win the 1st TOBA College championship in team history. |
