Dingos Crowned Kings of the International Conference Americas Monday, April 28th , 1952 Gabe Campos of the Southern Melbourne University Dingos said it would "mean so much" to the city if they could bring home a championship. The club has taken an important first step, clinching the International Conference Americas. "The city is hungry for a winner and for a team they can get behind. I think we're that team," he said. "It's time to bring a Championship Series to Southern Melbourne University." It's the club's 1st division title. "We may not be the most experienced playoff team, but we've got a lot of heart," the left fielder said. |
