Stuttgart Military College Wins Wildcard Series Sunday, May 4th , 1952 Fans at Chameleons Field saw the Wildcard Series come to a close today, as the Stuttgart Military College Chameleons defeated the University-on-Sea Spitfires by a score of 1-0, and advanced to the Division Series. Stuttgart Military College won the series 3-1 and will now continue their march toward the Championship Series. "It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said starting pitcher Andy Blanc, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far." The Stuttgart Military College Chameleons will play against the Dortmund University Scarecrows in the next round. Dortmund University won their series against the Orange Prince A&M Velocity 3 games to 0. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
