Tarzans Prevail, as Wildcard Series Goes to the Wire Monday, May 5th , 1952 The sweet swing of Edgar Bush has led his team through the Wildcard Series. The Arecibo University Tarzans star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Prairie University Golden Gophers to advance to the Division Series. The Tarzans won the final game at Raccoons Grounds by a score of 2-0 and the series 3-2. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Bush. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Bush hit .750 with a .750 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 0 runs. The Arecibo University Tarzans will play against the The Janison Institute Wolverines in the next round.
