International Conference Crowns Monteserico University's Palminteri Thursday, May 21st , 1953 This past season was very special for Nicodemo Palminteri of the Monteserico University Majestics. He picked up 8 wins against only 1 loss and was chosen the winner of the 1953 International Conference Pitcher of the Year Award. The 19-year-old Majestics ace fashioned a fine 2.02 ERA in 11 starts.
